FACT: you can eat 3000 year old honey
When archeologists made the most famous discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb almost a century ago, among the riches there was a more peculiar artifact… a jar of honey. They tasted it, and it was as sweet as ever. Honey never spoils. It’s also quite nutritious, and sweeter than sugar, so you can keep a big tub of it handy for a post-apocalyptic treat.
The flavour of honey is determined by it’s ingredients, which are the flowers from which the bees collect nectar. Fancy gourmet flavoured honey can be produced by encouraging the bees to frequent particular types of flowers
